Dixie Orchards
Located near the Caledon escarpment, Dixie Orchards is an idyllic farm to visit for apple picking this fall. They offer a variety of pick your own apples at different times throughout the season, plus a pick your own pumpkin patch. They also have a hazelnut orchard where you can learn how to pick your own nuts. You'll be charged for all items that you pick beyond the admission fee. A trip here is fun for the whole family with wagon rides and barn animals. If you want the trip minus the labour, their porch market contains ready-picked apples, hazelnuts, pumpkins and seasonal produce.
Chudleigh's Farm
Chudleigh's Farm in Halton Hills has been a place for families (and their pets) to visit for 50 years. They grow over 22 varieties of apples and have over 47,500 trees across 60 acres in their orchard. Peak picking season is September and October. They also host fun food events throughout the year.
Nature's Bounty
Nature's Bounty is located near Port Perry, Ontario. It's a beautiful orchard which boasts more than 20 varieties of apples. They also grow pumpkins, squash and sunflowers, and raise a flock of sheep. You can bring the whole family here to pick your own apples and take in the beauty of the country. The Apple Orchard
Located in Hamilton, The Apple Orchard is a great place to go apple picking this fall. The farm boasts over 10,000 apple and pear trees in a beautiful setting.
